The Vertical Garden Budapest brand was launched by sculptor and plant-fancier Balázs Duronelly in 2010. It all started in 2008, when he built Hungary’s first hydroponic vertical garden to complement an exhibition installation. When not occupied making vertical gardens, he works as a visual artist. As a co-founder of ProSculptura Ltd., he is busy making props, costumes and sets for movies as well as doing a wide range of sculptoral jobs.
